Email Postal Address
Set the mailing address in subscriber email footers.
Subscriber emails must include a valid mailing address for compliance. Override the platform default footer with your organization's postal address when you send notifications from this status dashboard.
Default behavior
The Email postal address sets the mailing address included in the footer of subscriber emails sent on behalf of this status dashboard. Subscriber emails must include a valid postal address for compliance.
This setting is independent of Email from name and Email sender. You can configure a custom footer address without changing the from display name or sender address.
When Email postal address is unset, subscriber emails use a platform default footer: a Sent on behalf of line naming your organization and StatusDashboard, followed by the platform copyright line and mailing address.
When it is set, the footer shows your organization's Business name (from the Account page) and your mailing address instead. The platform copyright line and Sent on behalf of line are not shown.
Setup
- Open the dashboard settings and go to the Branding section.
- In the Email postal address card, enter a single-line mailing address (for example,
123 Main St, City, ST 12345). - Click Save Changes.
To revert to the platform default, click Reset to default and save.
How it works in sends
| Email postal address | Footer |
|---|---|
| Unset | Sent on behalf of your organization by StatusDashboard, platform copyright line, and platform mailing address |
| Set | Your organization business name and your mailing address |
Event notification emails and subscription emails (verify and manage) for this dashboard use the resolved footer above.
Platform account emails — such as invitations, billing notices, and password resets — always use the platform footer. They are not affected by this dashboard setting.
