Email From Name
Set the display name on notification emails from your dashboard.
The email from name is the display label recipients see in notification messages from this dashboard. Set it when you want inbox previews to show your brand instead of the platform default.
Default behavior
The Email from name lets you set the display name recipients see in the From field of notification emails sent on behalf of this status dashboard — for example, Acme Status instead of StatusDashboard.
This is not the email address. The address is configured separately under Email sender. You can set a custom from name without configuring a custom sender address.
When Email from name is unset, notification emails use the platform default display name: StatusDashboard.
Setup
- Open the dashboard settings and go to the Branding section.
- In the Email from name card, enter the display name you want recipients to see.
- Click Save Changes.
To revert to the default, click Reset to default and save.
