Create and manage status dashboards for your components.
Status dashboards are the public pages where customers and stakeholders check component health. Use the admin console to create dashboards, wire components, and publish the updates visitors rely on.
Creating a dashboard
Dashboards are the url locations where your customers and stakeholders check the health of your components. Each dashboard is a standalone page accessible via a dedicated subdomain and optionally a custom domain.
Examples: acme.statusdashboard.io, status.acme.com, api-status.acme.com.
A single organization can have multiple dashboards — for example, one per product, region, or audience.
- Go to Dashboards.
- Click Add Dashboard.
- Enter a name (displayed on the page and in the admin list) and a subdomain (the unique URL slug — lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, e.g.
acme). - Click Create dashboard.
The dashboard is immediately accessible at https://<subdomain>.statusdashboard.io. You are taken to the dashboard settings page to configure it further.
Your plan determines how many dashboards you can create. The Dashboards page shows how many you have used out of your plan limit.
