Capabilities included in the next-generation platform redesign.
This release is the next generation of StatusDashboard. The platform has been redesigned around how teams publish service health, communicate incidents and maintenance, and notify subscribers.
The capabilities below are what this generation of the product includes. For a walkthrough, see the Quick Start.
Added
- Status dashboards: Publish branded public status pages on a platform subdomain or your own domain. Show live component status, event history, and subscribe flows. Optional branding, whitelabel, embed widget, IP allowlist, and visitor SSO.
- Components: Model the services your customers depend on and set operational status on each dashboard.
- Events: Communicate incidents, scheduled maintenance, and informational notices. Configurable workflows and severities, timeline updates, public history, and post-mortem reports.
- Subscriptions: Let visitors subscribe, verify, and manage alerts by email, SMS, and WhatsApp.
- Integrations: Deliver outbound event notifications to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and HTTPS webhooks. Inbound webhooks let monitoring and incident tools create or update incidents.
- Notifications: Send event updates to matching subscribers across enabled channels. Use audience segments to include or exclude groups on individual events.
- Team and billing: Invite teammates, assign roles, and manage your plan from the admin console.
- API: A REST API for components, events, subscribers, and other organization resources, authenticated with API keys. See the API reference.
- Security: Organization SSO for the admin console (SAML, OIDC, and Google), role-based access, and an audit log of account activity.
- Support: Open and track product support tickets from the admin console.
