Event History surfaces incidents and maintenance marked complete within the last 30 days. It gives visitors recent closure context without mixing finished work into active sections.

## What visitors see
The **Event History** module lists incidents and maintenance windows that were **marked complete within the last 30 days**, giving visitors recent history of finished work **for components on this dashboard**.

When enabled, a section titled **Event History** appears on your status dashboard. Each entry shows the event title, final status, description, optional **Impact Analysis** (when set), affected components, and key timestamps.

Entries are sorted **most recently marked complete first** — the event you (or automation) moved to a final status most recently appears at the top.

**What “resolved” means here:** This module uses the moment the event was **marked complete on the status page** (when it entered a final workflow phase), not a separately backdated recovery or maintenance end time on the event form or timeline. If you correct an incident’s end time to an earlier recovery moment, the event can still sort and appear under the day you actually closed it. Calendar-day and uptime views use the event’s interval times instead — see [Weekly Activity](/docs/status-dashboards/content/weekly-activity) and [Timeline](/docs/events/timeline).

## Which events appear
An event is included only when all of the following are true:

* It is **published** (or was published when it was active).
* It is **resolved or completed** (in a final workflow phase).
* It is an **incident or maintenance** event (informational notices are not listed here).
* It affects **at least one component currently configured** on this dashboard.
* It was **marked complete within the last 30 days** (see above).

"Configured on this dashboard" means wired on the **Components** tab **now**, not only when the event was active. If you later remove those components from this dashboard, matching history entries and permalinks on this page may disappear even though the events remain in admin. See [Dashboard scope](/docs/status-dashboards/components#dashboard-scope).

The dashboard shows an initial batch of historical events from the **last 30 days**. If more exist within that window, visitors can click **Load more** to see additional entries. Events marked complete more than 30 days ago are not shown in this module — use [Weekly Activity](/docs/status-dashboards/content/weekly-activity) to browse older activity by week and day (up to 90 days back).

## When the section is hidden
If the module is enabled but no resolved incidents or completed maintenance affect this dashboard's components, the section does not appear.

If the module is turned off in the Content tab, the section is never shown.
