# Get note

Retrieve a single internal note by ID.

`GET /app/events/{id}/notes/{noteId}`

Returns a single internal note for an event. Notes are **never visible** on published status dashboards.

## Response fields
The `note` object matches each item in [List notes](/docs/api/event-management/events/notes/list#note-fields). The `note` text field uses the same constraints as [Create note](/docs/api/event-management/events/notes/create#body-fields).
